Do you want to share your passion for knitting or crochet without leaving the comfort of your home?
Many fiber arts teachers are adapting to teaching virtually. This switch to virtual teaching can be surprisingly successful, but having the right equipment and a good lesson plan are crucial.

Whether you teach crochet, knitting, weaving, sewing, quilting, spinning, or something else, virtual teaching has so many benefits, for both student and teacher! Students can see, close up, each stitch, and can ask questions in real time. Virtual classes are accessible to more students, and less expensive to put on for event organizers.

Join Edie as she suggests ways to take your teaching online. Using the Zoom platform as an example, you’ll learn how you can use the technology you already have to share your knowledge. Topics include studio set-up, lesson planning, and class logistics. Pick up tips for best practices and find out about products and services that will enhance your student’s experience.

Next LIVE Class: To be scheduled in early 2023.

Can't wait? If you missed the last class, you can now purchase the recording and watch it for a limited time. Class recording will be available through March 31, 2023.

My experience was extremely five star. Professional yet personable. Humorous and informative.

The details about the equipment to use, cameras, lighting, lipstick, and looking into the camera 👍 just to name a few.
How an in person class verses a virtual online class, gave me a new perspective on overcoming my fear of online teaching and the benefit of reaching a broader audience.
There was nothing to dislike about the class. Maybe allowing a 3 week access for the class to be rewatched.
